Laura Adams, LPC
Therapist, Death Doula
I approach my work with a trauma focused, social equity lens. I believe everyone has the capacity for change and
the ability to build a life worth living. However, this capacity for change or ability to thrive is often blocked by
unresolved past trauma, ongoing current trauma, our unique bio-psycho-social makeup and outside factors that
limit our opportunities for growth and safety. Through therapy, we can find ways to work through these issues
and where we can’t work through, we will work around. My goal is to meet you where you are at and support you
while you forge healthy relationships with yourself, your friends and family and your community and to help you
build a value-led life.
