Constance Bravos-Williams, LMFT

Therapist

I have worked within the mental health field since 2010. My primary focus has been with vulnerable and marginalized populations. I have spent the last decade providing mental health services to the following: those involved in the justice system, experiencing houselessness, veterans, trauma, children, partners, and families.  My goal with clients is to act as a guide and support their growth.
Areas of interest include trauma, relationship issues, LGBTQ+, adolescents, and severe mental illness.

In addition to being a therapist at Rooted Mental Health, I am an employee at Oregon State Hospital. In my free time I enjoy crafting, hiking, spending time with loved ones and my cat.

My approach includes humanistic/transpersonal modalities which focus on the person as a whole and treat ongoing mental health conditions as part of a holistic system. I enjoy utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches like DBT, CBT, IFS, psychoanalysis, and NPT. I regard the rapport built between a client and therapist as the most significant basis of healing. I perceive my presence is a witness to growth and healing which I consider a great honor.

In addition to therapy and treatment services, Constance is a board-certified clinical supervisor for Professional Counseling Associates and Marriage and Family Therapist Associates.  Visit the Consultation and Supervision page for more details.
